We are seeking compassionate and dedicate individuals to join our team here at Community Services, Inc. (CSI), as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), to provide care and support for individuals with disabilities. As a DSP, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities by assisting them in various aspects of daily living, promoting independence, and fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.
What you'll do as a DSP:
Ultimately, the goal is to help the people you support, feel and become as independent as possible, while they live their daily lives. Among other things, you will:
- Support individuals in developing life skills, such as communication, self-care, and household management.
- Engage individuals in meaningful activities and community outings, promoting socialization and integration.
- Provide advocacy and support to individuals with disabilities in accessing community resources and services.
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with disabilities, including personal care, meal preparation, emotional regulation, behavioral management, and assistance with activities of daily living.
- Implement individualized care plans and behavior support plans as outlined by supervisors, healthcare professionals, and the individuals support team.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including healthcare professionals, therapists, families, and case managers, to ensure coordinated and holistic care.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in working with individuals with disabilities.
- Adhere to all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures governing the provision of services to individuals with disabilities.

Minimum qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age
- No experience, dont worry well train you!
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- Acceptable driving record and valid drivers license preferred
- Acceptable background check
