Community Staffing Solutions (CSS) is seeking a highly-skilled and self-motivated Concierge for one of our high-end condominium locations.
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our Front Desk Team at a prestigious, newly constructed, 48-story luxury high-rise condominium in downtown Seattle. In this position, you will play a key role as a community information liaison. You should be comfortable undertaking a variety of customer service and office activities including, greeting Residents, answering phones, filing, organizing documents, and tracking information and inventory in spreadsheets. A Concierge should be reliable, possess a strong work ethic, and professional communication skills.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for greeting all in a warm manner, assisting as necessary while securing access to the building. Provide a presence in the building to ensure that daily activities and events are monitored and reported as necessary. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
The Concierge staff is the front-line service provider for Residents. This includes handling any queries, incidents or requests from Residents, contractors, service providers and visitors. The Concierge staff may provide a variety of services to Residents including coordinating services to handling packages and deliveries. Assists Custodian/Porter Team personnel with upkeep of common areas, when possible. Assist Community Association Management Company and Board of Directors to ensure Governing Documents are being observed/enforced.
Schedule: Friday-Monday, 32 hours per week

Rate: $25.00 per hour
RESPONSIBILITIES/ DUTIES:
SAFETY/SECURITY/EMERGENCIES
- Perform security inspection of building, interior and exterior- at the beginning and end of each shift, and as you perform duties around the property.
- Monitor and screen people seeking access through the front door. Greet property Residents and guests. Open doors for those that may be burdened heavy items or need additional assistance. Make every effort to assist owners upon entry and provide and maintain a welcoming lobby environment.
- Monitor surveillance systems and building entry. Notify appropriate personnel and local authorities (if necessary), of any reported or witnessed suspicious activity.
- Provide emergency access to property or homes, or as requested by Residents during normal front desk hours.
- Assess emergency situations; determine appropriate action.
RECORDS ADMINISTRATION
- Keep and maintain daily log of all activities:
- Property tours and inspections.
- Visits and work accomplished by all Vendors.
- Guests visiting.
- Package Concierge - Deliveries and packages management including Overflow/Large Items that won’t fit in Package Concierge.
- Assist Residents & Guests with all needs, and document visit.
- Maintain Buildinglink database for property: Homeowners and Residents, to include: Unit, Name, Contact and Emergency Contact information, pets, and helpful notes. Provide monthly reports of contact information changes to the General Manager.
- Collect and track payments received for move-in/out activities, additional access devices, etc. Ensure that credit card transactions contain the unit number and reference to the expense (fob, garage remote, move, etc.) Advise Owners that payment of monthly assessment cannot be processed at the Concierge desk and must be sent to CWD Group, Inc.
- Where applicable, maintain intercom system. Process name and phone number updates upon receipt of Resident request.
BUILDING INSPECTIONS
- May perform inspections of common areas: (i.e. Lobby, Entrance, Elevators, Amenities, Mail/Package Room, etc.) Keep tidy and organized; communicate with maintenance personnel if additional work or assistance is required.
- Where applicable, monitor building systems and assist maintenance personnel with tasks as required: lighting, temperature, access, and coordination of Association work and/or building inspections.
POLICY IMPLEMENTATION
- Enforce Association policies and Governing Document requirements.
- Inform Residents about specific policies and Declaration provisions.
- Investigate complaints, disturbances, and violations, and provide information to General Manager for resolution.
- May Coordinate Move-in and Move-out with Residents and CWD Group Move Coordinating Team.
RESIDENT INTERACTION
- Work to provide ideal service for Residents. Assist when possible, while still maintaining an effective presence on the property and in the entry.
- Understand and administer fairly all Association policies and provisions in order to provide Owners, Residents and Guests the highest level of courtesy, service and positive interaction while maintaining security and safety at all times.
- Respond to inquiries on the phone and via email in a timely manner.
- Concierge service includes utilizing knowledge of the area, in order to provide information and recommendations to meet the individual needs of Residents.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
- Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Good organizational skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Strong knowledge of local community, area and region.
- Must be computer literate, and able to complete computer tasks such as creating notices in a word processing program, sending email, creating and updating simple spreadsheets, programming access devices, and monitoring or adjusting computerized building systems.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Must be able to communicate well in writing orally, with a variety of people including, but not limited to Homeowners and Residents, general public, building staff, property management or community association manager and service providers.
- Must be neat and well-groomed in appearance.
- Must be able to do heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.), maneuvering, and physical work such as cleaning, moving dumpsters, sweeping, carrying of deliveries, supplies, etc.
