Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Customer Service Representative to join our team in our Laurens office. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional service and support. You will assist customers with the purchases of deposit products, inquiries, assist in resolving issues, and ensure a positive experience while maintaining the integrity of our financial services. Some travel may be required. Salary will commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with customers by providing personalized service and support.
- Assist in selling and by promoting products and services that meet customer needs.
- Process transactions accurately using a banking program, ensuring proper cash handling and management.
- Engage with customers through various channels to address inquiries and provide information about products and services.
- Handle debits and credits efficiently while maintaining accurate records of customer interactions.
- Detect and prevent fraud by monitoring transactions and identifying suspicious activity.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to enhance the customer experience.
Skills
- Strong math skills with the ability to perform basic calculations accurately.
- Proficient in cash management and handling, ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
- Knowledge of debits, credits, and cash register operations.
- Experience in fraud prevention detection to safeguard company assets.
- Excellent relationship management skills to foster positive customer interactions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Microsoft 365 knowledge a plus.
