What are the responsibilities and job description for the Internship Program (Summer 2024) position at Community State Bank?
CSB is looking for exceptional students excited to gain valuable experience that help guide students to determine the best career path in the future. The role will have exposure to different aspects of banking with areas of focus in Commercial Lending, Treasury Management, Consumer Lending and Retail. Each intern will be assigned a specific area of the bank and have a direct supervisor. Interns will have opportunities to collaborate with other interns in various projects and activities.
Interns will not only get exposure to their specific area of the bank but will have the opportunity to be involved in various other activities including:
- Round Table Panel with Senior Managers
- Attend lunches with other interns to discuss various topics
- Attend Iowa Bankers Association functions
Minimum requirements:
A current sophomore or junior who is working towards the completion of a bachelor's degree- preferred majors are Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Communications, Management or any other Business-related major. Preferred GPA of 3.00 overall or in area of interest. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills; process-oriented, with strong attention to detail with strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work within cross-functional teams and interact with other groups to achieve company and department objectives and possess strong collaboration skills with ability to work independently. Ability to work in a diverse, equitable and inclusive culture and organization reflected in teams, leadership, work styles, and day to day operations.
Pre-employment credit check, criminal background check and drug screen is required.
