Position Overview
Community Tax is a nationally leading Tax Representation /Tax Resolution firm, and we are seeking a creative, self-directed, results-oriented marketing professional to join our senior management cadre in the role of Vice President, Marketing.
This role is responsible for all activities related to conceptualizing, implementing, and executing on market and branding strategy in support of the firm’s business goals as to market share, revenue growth, and efficient client acquisition. Specific responsibilities include brand and market development; market research and planning; strategic and creative direction for branding, promotion and advertising; coordination with sales, customer success, and data analytics; and direction of the day-to-day activities of our five-person marketing staff and web of external partners.
Experience in marketing to both English and Spanish-speaking audiences is highly desirable.
Successful candidates will possess a robust understanding of both traditional and digital direct marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, affiliate marketing, and CRM-based inbound lead generation. B2C Marketing experience a must – with B2B Marketing experience desirable.
This is a hands-on position with a real seat at the table– and a clear path of advancement to C-Level management.
Responsibilities:
- Brand Development: Develop, execute, and implement a comprehensive brand strategy to establish and enhance the company's market positioning and value proposition, to distinguish the firm from rivals, and to ensure consistency across all channels and touchpoints.
- Market Development: Identify new markets and customer segments, conducting market research and competitive analysis to guide expansion strategies. Develop go-to-market strategies for new and existing products and services, focusing on entry tactics, localization, and audience engagement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with executive leadership and other departments (Sales, Customer Success, and Data Analytics) to align marketing strategies with company-wide goals. Serve as a key advisor on the company's overall business strategy, contributing insights on market trends, customer behavior, and competitive positioning.
- Revenue Growth Leadership: Set and achieve ambitious revenue growth targets by optimizing marketing investments, improving customer acquisition and retention, and enhancing lifetime customer value. Use data-driven insights to continuously refine strategies, focusing on profitability and scalability.
- Develop and Execute Marketing Strategy: Create and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with company goals and objectives, ensuring a strong presence in both traditional and digital channels with both English and Spanish consumers.
- Digital Marketing: Lead digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, marketing automation, re-marketing, content marketing as well as native advertising/marketing.
- Direct Response Marketing: Lead direct response marketing initiatives to drive immediate customer actions and conversions.
- Affiliate Marketing: Manage affiliate marketing programs to expand our reach and customer base.
- CRM-Based Inbound Lead Generation: Utilize CRM systems to optimize inbound lead generation processes, ensuring leads are qualified and nurtured effectively.
- Budget Management: Devise and oversee marketing budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and continuously optimize campaigns for maximum ROI.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports and insights to executive leadership.
- Compliance: Ensure that all marketing activities comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years successful experience in digital, direct response, muti-media, native advertising/marketing and affiliate marketing
- Proven track record of success in marketing leadership roles, ideally within B2C market spaces such as debt settlement, tax, legal services, financial services or direct to consumer call center environments preferred.
- Deep understanding of and experience in B2C traditional and digital marketing strategies, including marketing automation, re-marketing, native advertising/marketing and demonstrated success in direct response and affiliate marketing.
- Experience with CRM-based inbound lead generation for a high-volume call center environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data-driven insights to make informed decisions.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Spanish Language marketing preferred.
