About the Role
This position entails supporting teachers at Lincoln Prairie Elementary School to enhance their instructional practices and improve student learning outcomes through coaching and mentoring.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coaching & Mentoring
- Build trust with teachers to establish collaborative relationships and provide individualized coaching support.
- Design and deliver coaching cycles to help teachers improve their instructional strategies and classroom management.
- Model reflective practice and engage in dialogue with teachers to foster a growth mindset.
- Professional Learning Opportunities
- Develop and facilitate workshops, training sessions, and other professional learning experiences for teachers.
- Collaborate with the school administration to identify areas for professional growth and development.
- School-Wide Initiatives
- Contribute to school-wide initiatives aimed at improving student achievement and teacher effectiveness.
- Participate in district-level teams to advance educational reform and innovation.
Requirements
- Valid Illinois Licensure
- Three years of teaching experience preferred
- Maintain extensive knowledge of instructional best practices and demonstrate strong leadership, coaching, communication, and presentation skills.
Salary Range
The annual compensation is $52,901 - $85,501, based on the LEAD Salary Schedule 24.25SY.pdf.
