Key Responsibilities:
- Cognitive Coaching & Teacher Development
- Establish and maintain trusting relationships with teachers.
- Collaborate with teachers to foster a culture of rigor, inquiry, and reflection.
- Facilitate structured coaching cycles across grade levels and disciplines.
- Collaboration & Learning Facilitation
- Create opportunities for discourse through questioning and discussion.
- Model reflective practice and engage in reflective dialogue with others.
- Coach Professional Learning Communities through key tasks in the PLC Process.
- Supporting School & District Reform
- Partner with the principal to build a coaching culture.
- Engage in meetings to monitor and support instructional goals.
- Support teachers in implementing new concepts and policies.
Requirements:
- Illinois Licensure
- Three years of teaching experience preferred
- Maintain knowledge of instructional best practices
- Demonstrate strong leadership and coaching skills
