Job Title: Instructional Learning Facilitator
Location: Lincoln Prairie Elementary School, Community Unit School District 300
Job Type: Full-time (1.0 FTE)
Reports to: Building Principal
About the Role
This position involves supporting academic programs and enhancing instructional practices for improved student learning outcomes.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Cognitive Coaching & Teacher Development
- Foster trusting relationships with teachers to collaborate on creating a culture of rigor, inquiry, and reflection through best instructional practices.
- Facilitate growth mindset by structuring Coaching Cycles across grade levels/disciplines using student evidence to inform instruction.
- Provide informal support to teachers on classroom management, curriculum design, and instructional ideas.
- Collaboration & Learning Facilitation
- Create opportunities for discourse through questioning and discussion support, modeling reflective practice and engaging in dialogue with colleagues.
- Coach Professional Learning Communities as they work through key tasks in the PLC Process, collaborating with colleagues to design and deliver professional learning opportunities.
- Supporting School Reform
- Partner with the principal to build a coaching culture, engaging in meetings to monitor and support instructional goals.
- Support teachers in implementing new concepts, policies, or resources, collaborating with the district-level Coaching team on strategic priorities.
Requirements
- Valid Illinois Licensure
- Three years of teaching experience preferred
- Maintain extensive knowledge of instructional best practices and demonstrate strong leadership, coaching, communication, and presentation skills.
Salary Information
The estimated salary is $52,901 - $85,501 per year, based on LEAD Salary Schedule 24.25SY.pdf.
