What are the responsibilities and job description for the Early Childhood Child Care Teacher - M-F full-time position at Community United Child Care Centers & Preschool?
Primary Responsibilities:
- Lead Classroom Instruction - Create and implement a developmentally appropriate lessons and activities based on curriculum
- Promote a Positive Learning Environment - Establish and maintain a warm, welcoming, and safe classroom atmosphere
- Classroom Management - Implement and reinforce positive behaviors while managing the classroom alone and with others
- Collaboration and Teamwork - Work closely with assistant teachers, the director, and other staff

Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a licensed early childhood program preferred but we are willing to train the right individual
- Must be willing to learn and appreciate our core values which are: providing care to children in a warm and nurturing environment while meeting the social emotional and educational needs of the children.
- Must be willing to obtain training in CPR/First Aid, mandatory child abuse reporter, Universal Precautions and Essentials in Child Care within the first 90 days of employment.
- Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred but not necessary
