Adult Therapist (part-time)
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling and North Dakota license as a LMSW or LAPC. A clinical license (North Dakota) as a LCSW or LPCC is preferred. Experience working with adult victims of violence, and training in evidence-based therapies to address trauma preferred. Availability to work 20 hours per week.
COMPENSATION: Hourly rate for a LMSW or LAPC/LPC is $21.85-$36.42. Clinical license (LCSW or LPCC) hourly rate is $25.84-$43.06. This position accrues annual, sick and personal leave.
SUPERVISED BY: Director of Adult Therapy Services
CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt
RESPONSIBILITIES
Individual and Group Therapy
- Provide evidence-based individual and group therapy to adults who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assault/abuse, and/or stalking.
- Follow-up with individuals who are on CVIC’s therapy waitlists to arrange for services.
- Provide individual therapy to adults at CVIC’s main office, in addition to providing group therapy services to survivors, as needed.
Individual Advocacy and Referrals
- Provide crisis intervention and advocacy services on an as needed basis.
- Become knowledgeable of other related agencies and services and provide victims with appropriate referral information and support in accessing safety net services.
- Collaborate with partner agencies to assist with referrals to our services, helping victims overcome barriers to receiving services.
Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely records of all contacts with clients and other agencies according to established procedures.
- Distribute and collect surveys from individuals participating in individual and group therapy, according to established procedures.
Supervision
- Schedule and participate in supervision with director of adult therapy services on a regular basis.
