General Job Description:
Supervise, monitor and provide care for youth in a residential crisis stabilization setting. Provide direction of juvenile daily activities; monitor and report compliance with facility rules and regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision, program implementation, and documentation for specified daily routines and personal daily living needs for ITS residents;
- Actively participate and engage residents in all scheduled activities; accompany and supervise residents on assigned outings;
- Consistently assist residents in self-help skills, guide and supervise residents for completing support service tasks (i.e. general housekeeping) as assigned;
- Assume responsibility for assuring compliance of resident rights; model appropriate behavior which demonstrates self-discipline, responsibility, and respect for self, authority and the community;
- Maintain environmental controls and program cleanliness that promotes safety and well-being;
- Perform CPR/First Aid as required upon injury, immediately assess the situation, and notify proper authorities for further treatment/evaluation. When authorized, utilize MAB techniques to calm a resident and complete required documentation;
- Provide medication administration assistance and documentation according to policy and procedure;
- Participate and satisfactorily complete all required training/education; AND
- Perform all other duties, as assigned.
