What are the responsibilities and job description for the Internal Evaluation Program (IEP) Auditor position at CommuteAir Recruiting Team?

What the position is:The IEP Auditor is responsible for performing internal process audits of specific functional areas of the airline using a formal process for evaluating the effectiveness of CommutAir processes, procedures, and policies. The IEP Auditor will assist in maintaining the electronic database used to house IEP Data, and work with department personnel to ensure data integrity.  Essential functions:Performs comprehensive evaluations of Maintenance, Flight Operations, Inflight, Dispatch, Airport Operations, Security, and other departments in accordance with the schedule developed by the IEP Manager.Prepares comprehensive evaluation reports.Performs special evaluations in response to identified trends or concerns for which management has requested an independent analysis and development of solutions for their review.Prepares audit finding reports for appropriate corrective actions.Assists the IEP Manager in determining root causes, risk rating, and in assessing comprehensive corrective actions in response to discrepant audit findings.Assists the department in maintaining IEP data in company database (Checklists, Audits, Corrective Action Records, Corrective Action Plans, etc.).Present audit reports and data during periodic corporate briefings and safety information update meetingsWorks closely with department leaders to ensure proper utilization of available audit tracking tools.Maintains audit checklists to ensure cohesion with DOD, IOSA, FAA, and company requirements.Other task as assigned by the Internal Evaluation Program Manager. General requirements & qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or higher level of education in aviation related studies is desired.Experience can be substituted for education and/or Certificates.Minimum of two (2) years of aviation experience in flight or maintenance operations, or air carrier auditing programs.Thorough knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations.Familiarity with FAA, IOSA, and DOD audit standards.Valid driver’s license and passport.English language fluency (writing, speaking, and understanding).Legal authorization to work in the USA.Basic Computer Skills in MS office products.Excellent Communication skills and a diplomatic approach.Must be able to travel at least 25% of the time.

Salary : $59,700 - $75,600
