What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Manager position at CommWorld Central Virginia?
Located in Forest, VA we are a small service-first communications contractor working with local businesses. We pride ourselves on maintaining a positive and fun environment while in the office. We rely on each others skillsets to supplement our own and while we collaborate often we must also work well independently. We are not an office that can guarantee that each day looks identical to the last but if you enjoy some variety in your day-to day work life we may be the fit for you. We’re looking for a generally laid-back people-person who can thrive in our environment and lead the team in communicating effectively with our expansive customer base on a daily basis. While sales are a part of the job, our #1 priority is and will always be to provide the best possible service to all our clients and operate in partnership to meet their needs.
Therefore, we’re looking for a team member who presents professionally and demonstrates excellent communication and customer service skills. Customer service must be a top priority.
Applicants must be willing and able to train in low-voltage cabling (CAT6 & fiber) installations as well as phone systems, security cameras and other communication endpoints – experience in telecom cabling or similar fields highly preferred.
Applicants must be able to pass a background check and have a valid VA driver’s license.
Applicants must be able to meet physical demands such as kneeling, crawling, climbing ladders, and lift up to 50 pounds. As well as being able to sometimes sit for prolonged periods either at a desk or driving a vehicle.
No minimum education requirements. Experience preferred.

Working Hours M-F, 8-5 with rare but occasional overtime.
