Are you ready to be the magic behind the meds? We’re on the hunt for a talented Sterile/Non-Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team! In this role, you'll be the superhero who prepares and distributes compounded medications while delivering top-notch customer service. What You'll Be Doing:
Compounding Magic: Mix, package, and label drugs like a pro! Maintain meticulous records and work with our cutting-edge computer system to create perfect labels. Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure all entries are spot-on and compliant with sterile compounding regulations (think USP 797 and USP 800).
Detail-Oriented Mastery: Calculate dosage volumes with ease, convert measurements like a champ, and ensure all documentation and billing are accurate. Troubleshoot and resolve any order issues with the pharmacist and prescriber to keep everything running smoothly.
Cleanliness Champion: Keep your workspace spotless and sterile! Perform and document cleaning practices, environmental testing, and proper disposal of materials used in compounding. Ensure everything is safe and secure.
Controlled Substance Specialist: Follow all protocols for handling and dispensing controlled substances, ensuring everything is accounted for and secure.
Inventory Hero: Help keep our shelves stocked and organized! Assist with inventory control, order processing, and manage recalls like a pro. Inspect and quarantine outdated components to keep our stock fresh and ready.
Regulatory Rockstar: Stay sharp and adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations. Keep your work environment safe and alert, and be ready to tackle any additional tasks that come your way.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: At least one year of experience in a similar role.
- Physical Stamina: Comfortable lifting, carrying, and pushing/pulling objects up to 50 lbs. Frequent sitting, standing, and walking with excellent vision and hearing skills.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to work with a variety of tasks and equipment, and great communication skills.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
