Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in applied behavior analysis and demonstrate a commitment to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism. The BCBA will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct support to clients and their families.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify behavioral challenges and needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
- Provide behavioral therapy and interventions tailored to each client's unique situation.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including educators, therapists, and family members, to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Educate clients and families on behavioral strategies and techniques for promoting positive outcomes.
- Stay updated on best practices in behavior analysis and related fields.
Experience
- Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, particularly those with autism.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health.
- Familiarity with data collection methods and patient care protocols.
- Experience in providing training or supervision to paraprofessionals or other staff members is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.
