What are the responsibilities and job description for the Telemedicine Veterinarian (DVM) needed in Pennsylvania position at Comp Resource Group?
Creature Comforts Veterinary Service located in Saylorsburg, PA is seeking a Veterinarian to join our team and be part of the night time on call coverage through telemedicine.
Job will consist of taking call over the phone 12am-9am for specific days. DVM will be paid $500 for just being available for the phone triage. Typical day consists of 2-3 consults. The compensation would go up to $1500 for the shift depending on the amount of cases taken. If the DVM lives near the clinic the opportunity for onsite coverage would be available as well.
We treat a wide variety of species including small animal, pet exotics and zoo animals. The practice takes an integrative approach to patient care which includes traditional medicine, surgery, dentistry, chiropractic, acupuncture, and Western and Eastern herbals.
Practice is well-equipped and ICU is staffed 24/7/365. Opportunity to learn advanced techniques in both soft tissue and orthopedic surgery.
As for location, enjoy the quiet rural area while still having easy access to both NYC and Philly.
Compensation & Benefits for Full Time DVM at Facility.
- Earn 300k per year with a 4.5 day work week, and rotating on-call schedule. (For permanent DVM's)
