We are seeking a highly experienced Safety Basis Professional to join our team as a Senior Safety Basis Analyst & Trainer at COMPA Industries, Inc.
This critical role involves playing a key part in ensuring facility safety and compliance. As a subject matter expert in DOE safety basis orders and standards, you will provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior staff.
Responsibilities include conducting hazard identification, hazard analysis, accident analysis, and facility hazard categorization, as well as developing and maintaining safety basis documents. Additionally, the successful candidate will assist in revisions to Safety Basis (SB) policy and implementing documents, ensuring alignment with DOE standards and best practices.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have expert-level knowledge of DOE safety basis orders and standards, as well as experience in policy development and implementation for safety basis programs. A strong background in nuclear and non-nuclear facility safety analysis is also highly desirable.
