ABOUT THE ROLE 
Compal is seeking a Senior Manager Technical Marketing to drive the successful integration of our products into vehicles, manage global logistics for vehicle shipments, and lead testing and data collection efforts to enhance vehicle feature creation. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in automotive systems, logistics, and data analytics and a deep understanding of marketing strategies and product positioning. Experience with Thermal Imaging Cameras and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) is highly desirable to support the integration and development of cutting-edge vehicle technologies. The position will be located in our CompalUSA Michigan facility.  

 

Key Responsibilities: 

 

Vehicle Integration & Product Implementation: 

  • Work closely with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of Compal products into vehicle platforms. 
  • Collaborate with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers to understand vehicle architecture and compatibility requirements. 
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate product performance within vehicle ecosystems. 
  • Support the creation of vehicle features that enhance user experience and market appeal. 
  • Integrate and test Thermal Imaging Cameras and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in-vehicle platforms. 

 

Global Logistics & Vehicle Shipping: 

  • Coordinate the shipment of vehicles across global markets, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements. 
  • Develop and implement strategies for optimizing logistics efficiency, reducing costs, and improving delivery timelines. 
  • Partner with supply chain teams to manage vehicle inventory and distribution networks. 
  • Address and resolve logistics challenges, including import/export restrictions and regulatory issues. 

 

Data Collection & Market Analysis: 

  • Develop and implement data collection strategies to monitor vehicle performance, user behavior, and market trends. 
  • Analyze data to identify key insights that drive product development and feature enhancements. 
  • Collaborate with product management and R&D teams to refine marketing strategies based on real-world performance data. 
  • Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations. 

 

Event Management & Supplier Management: 

  • Plan and execute industry events, product demonstrations, and trade shows to showcase Compal’s technology. 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of components and services. 
  • Negotiate supplier contracts and monitor performance to optimize cost and quality. 
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless event execution and supplier collaboration. 

 

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field. 
  • 5 years of experience in technical marketing, automotive engineering, logistics, or product management. 
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle integration processes, automotive supply chain logistics, and international shipping regulations. 
  • Experience with data collection methodologies, analytics tools, and vehicle telematics. 
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally between engineering, marketing, and logistics teams. 
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience working with OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers in the automotive industry. 
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements for vehicle imports and exports. 
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools and CRM software. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex projects under tight deadlines. 
  • Experience with Thermal Imaging Cameras and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
