Successful candidates must have client facing and client-focused experience and must successfully pass a drug test performed at our expense.
Responsibilities include:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer and screen phone calls
- Answer and professionally engage all client SMS communications
- Organize and schedule appointments
- Clearly and eagerly communicate extensive product information and benefits
- Maintain, update, and organize client records
- Take payments, balance cash drawer, make change, provide receipts
- Cheerfully and accurately educate clients on over-the-counter offerings, food, treats and more
- Maintain office cleanliness and organization of resources
- Accurately scan, organize,collate, and upload documents
Qualifications
- 2-3 years experience successfully working in a busy, professional veterinary environment
- Able to work a flexible schedule, 20-40 hours per week
- Able and willing to work at least two Saturdays per month
- Excellent math skills are necessary
- Strong experience using computers necessary
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary
- Excellent customer service skills and courteous, professional phone skills
- Experienced in working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Time-management and organizational skills necessary
- Attendance reliability and punctuality critical
- Ability to professionally deal with the occasional upset, irrational client
- Ability to provide references and able to speak to your experience with all the above.
