Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support to individuals with developmental disabilities, memory care needs, and those requiring assistance in nursing home settings. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by delivering personalized care and support in a safe and nurturing environment.
********Must be willing to travel throughout Nashville and surrounding cities to care for clients.
Duties
- Provide direct support to clients with developmental disabilities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist clients with eating as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized living space for clients, including light housekeeping tasks.
- Monitor vital signs and report any changes in health status to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation.
- Assist with mobility needs, including lifting or transferring clients safely when necessary.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a trusting relationship.
- Document care provided and any significant observations regarding client behavior or health.
Requirements
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices is a plus.
- Ability to perform light housekeeping duties and maintain a clean environment.
- Basic cooking skills to prepare meals that meet dietary needs.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and healthcare providers.
- Ability to lift and assist clients as required while adhering to safety protocols.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Previous experience in nursing homes or similar settings is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
