Companion Linc is a 245D Waivered Services Provider that supports approximately 130 individuals throughout the Metro Area with a variety of intellectual and/or physical needs, including Autism, Down Syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy.

- Competitive Pay & Great Benefits -Sleepover positions paid at $12.00/hour. *Any time spent awake during the shift is paid at $19.00/hour. Employees eligible for a raise at 12 months, based upon satisfactory performance. Employees are paid to complete and maintain all required training for their position. Full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision and life insurance, as well as Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays.
Positions, Hours & Wage:
- Sleep Overnight Hours: 9:00PM-8:00AM - Wednesday and Saturday
- DSP Rate $19.00/hour (9pm-12am); Sleepover Rate $12.00/hour(12am-8am)
Department Description:
This position will support one individual in her personal home who has physical support needs. *Individual has a dog* **Preference for FEMALE staff**.
Job Duties:
- Provide supervision and training for light housekeeping and personal care needs.
- Assist individual to achieve and exceed their personal goals.
- Provide guidance in administering medications.
- Assist individual with personal hygiene.
- Provide individual with physical, emotional, and behavioral support allowing them to actively participate in activities offered while encouraging personal choices and assisting to maintain their personal safety.
- Provide transportation to activities using the individual's vehicle.
- Complete detailed, accurate documentation as assigned.
- Other duties specific to individual supported.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry at least 20 lbs
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to provide vehicle insurance
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbal
- Minnesota DHS background study clearance
- Prefer work experience in the human services field
- Willingness to participate with the individual supported a in variety of scheduled community activities
- Individual prefers FEMALE staff
