Indian speaking PCA/Caregiver (South Windsor, CT)

Personal Care Aide (PCA) needed in South Windsor. This shift is 13 hours per visit for 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday). Shift for Monday and Friday its 9am to 1pm. Wednesdays are 9am-2pm. 13 hours total per week. Indian speaker needed, to take care of elderly lady.

We are seeking a compassionate PCA to empower and assist elderly individuals in enhancing their quality of life.

Responsibilities:

- Aid clients with mobility limitations in moving and positioning
- Assist clients with dressing, bathing, feeding, and other personal care tasks
- Support clients in performing physical therapy exercises
- Prepare and cook meals tailored to clients' dietary requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment through housekeeping duties
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients
- Report any unusual incidents or changes in clients' conditions to healthcare providers or supervisors promptly
- Respond promptly and effectively in emergency situations

Requirements and Skills:

- Previous experience as a Personal Care Aide or similar role is required.
- Successful completion of a background check.
- Strong commitment to punctuality and reliability.
- Dedication to maintaining health and safety standards at all times.
- Proficiency in housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
- Exceptional organizational skills and dependability.
- Excellent interpersonal communication abilities with a compassionate demeanor.
- Uphold high ethical standards in all interactions.
- Physical stamina to meet the demands of the position.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
