We are seeking a PCA Caregiver for for 5 hours on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 10am to 3pm in WILLIMANTIC, CT to provide personal care service for an elderly male client. He does wants someone with a car so he can go grocery shopping once a week and maybe take a ride somewhere close by every other week...
This is an 5 HOUR DAY SHIFT on MONDAYS, WEDNESDAYS, and FRIDAYS from 10AM TO 3PM.
Responsibilities:
- Personal care assistance with focus on activities of daily living such as grooming, personal care, etc.
- Prepare and cook meals tailored to clients' dietary requirements
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment through housekeeping duties
- Offer emotional support and companionship to clients
- Transport client for grocery shopping once a week and events every other week.
- Report any unusual incidents or changes in clients' conditions to healthcare providers or supervisors promptly
- Respond promptly and effectively in emergency situations.
Requirements and Skills:
- Previous experience as a PCA Caregiver with dementia training or experience required.
- Successful completion of a background check.
- Strong commitment to punctuality and reliability.
- Dedication to maintaining health and safety standards at all times.
- Proficiency in housekeeping tasks and meal preparation.
- Exceptional organizational skills and dependability.
- Excellent interpersonal communication abilities with a compassionate demeanor.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
