Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Dentist to join our dental practice. Duties
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and assessments for patients.
- Diagnose and treat dental conditions, including but not limited to cavities, gum disease, and oral infections.
- Provide preventative care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
- Conduct various dental procedures such as root canal therapy, dental extractions, and oral surgery as needed.
- Utilize medical imaging techniques to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate patient records using dental software systems like Eaglesoft.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment options available to them.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists, assistants, and administrative staff to ensure efficient clinic operations.
- Stay current with advancements in dentistry through continuing education and professional development.
Qualifications
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Valid state dental license and ability to pass all necessary background checks.
- Experience in pediatric dentistry is preferred but not required; familiarity with pediatric patients is a plus.
- Proficiency in performing root canal therapy, oral surgery, and dental extractions.
- Knowledge of anatomy relevant to dentistry is essential for effective treatment planning.
- Familiarity with medical imaging technologies used in dentistry is advantageous.
- Experience using dental practice management software such as Eaglesoft is preferred but not mandatory.
