Position Summary
Radiology Partners is currently seeking an experienced Practice Manager to join our team of practice management professionals. Seeking a candidate to support our strong local practice based in Indiana. This role is a unique opportunity to help build and lead a successful and growing practice. In addition, it is an outstanding opportunity for the practice management professional who desires a broader business consultative role by servicing hospital-based physician groups. As the Practice Manager, you will work closely with the Practice Director/AVP in leading the practice in the day-to-day business relationships with physician client groups. You will be responsible for building effective, service driven relationships and providing innovative business solutions to complex matters in their practice. The Practice Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership and customer satisfaction of the practice.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
· Work alongside the Practice Director/AVP in the day to day management of the group
· Participate in growth initiatives at the direction of the Practice Director/AVP and the Local Practice Board
· Lead, assist and continue to create a premier local radiology practice in the Indiana market
· Assist in Radiologist Scheduling (aid in monitoring radiologist capacity to current and projected volume; ensuring full coverage w/o gaps based on licensing/credentialing and subspecialty; identifying and resolving potential problems before they arise and solving scheduling problems if they arise)
· Oversee of the Locum and Independent Contractor staffing and scheduling
· Volume and productivity monitoring and analysis
· Coordinating new radiologist hiring (work with HR, IT, Legal and Local Team)
· Optimization and coordination of radiologist licensing and credentialing
· Management of new physician onboarding and mentorship program
· Monitoring of clinical quality management programs, including OPPE reporting
· Assisting in the monitoring of physician payroll, payroll adjustments, and payroll reporting
· Monitoring and communication of adherence to client service level agreements
· Implementation and communication of new quality management programs
· Assisting to maximize radiologist billing compliance
· Monitoring key practice metrics, and implementing programs to improve where needed
· Attend and participate in meetings, but during and after-hours, and prepare minutes as required.
· Assist in development and adherence to the practice budget
· Assist in Coordinating with the Radiology Partners national IT team with regards to implementing and supporting IT systems
· Supporting a productive, team-oriented environment for our radiologists
· Consistent local practice communication (communicate key issues and initiatives to our radiologists)
· Assist with committee and board meeting preparations
· Assist with special project management
· Promotes communication and cooperation among teammates to create a spirit of unity in the department.
· Works closely with leadership and teammates to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
· Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to direct reports (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience preferred, Master’s Degree highly preferred
· 5 years of relevant experience in management, healthcare administration or radiology.
· 2 years of prior analyst experience preferred
· Strong experience using Excel to create and maintain models with multiple variables
· Candidates should have experience in working closely with physicians
· Requires a thorough understanding of customer relationship management, entrepreneurial based service delivery and an ability to adapt to a rapidly growing environment
· Demonstrated leadership in a management environment with core skills of detail orientation, follow through, process design, excellent communication and relationship management
· Computer skills including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
DESIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
· Experience in Radiology a plus but not required
