International Logistics Coordinator-Import and export
Are you detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about logistics? Join our dynamic team as an International Logistics Coordinator , where you'll leverage your import and export experience, and play a crucial role in ensuring seamless cargo movement and timely deliveries.
What You’ll Do :
- Verify critical shipment details, including bill of lading numbers, piece counts, and container information.
- Schedule freight partners and customer directed carriers for both import and export
- Confirm shipment arrivals and release availability at piers and railyards.
- Track inland cargo movements and ensure timely delivery to destinations.
- Keep shipment ETAs up to date across internal tracking systems.
- Obtain and communicate pickup numbers, ensuring trucker acknowledgment.
- Coordinate and send delivery orders to truckers, confirming receipt and updating systems accordingly.
- Process Pier Pass payments.
- Monitor container movement to prevent delays and avoid storage fees.
- Ensure accurate delivery reporting by verifying trucker input and obtaining Proof of Delivery when required.
- Handle customs examinations and payments efficiently.
- Work closely with Customer Service to promptly report and address any delivery delays.
