Job Summary:
The Senior Mortgage Operations Manager will lead the residential loan processing function, overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure timely and compliant processing. This individual will supervise a team of mortgage processors, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the pipeline of residential mortgage loan files from submission to closing.
- Review and audit loan files for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory and investor guidelines.
- Collaborate with underwriters, loan officers, closers, and other departments to resolve issues and streamline processes.
- Monitor performance metrics and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and service levels.
Key Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in residential mortgage processing, including supervisory or managerial roles.
- Proven knowledge of all loan types: Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, Jumbo, etc.
- Strong understanding of mortgage compliance, TRID, RESPA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
