*Pay Range: $45.00 - $50.00 USD hourly
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will report to the Benefits Manager, and can be based remotely or in our Santa Monica, CA office.
The Sr. Benefits Administrator is responsible for the administration of our employee benefit programs. You will be working closely with the Benefits team, payroll and HR departments to coordinate the daily/biweekly processing of benefits. You will also be responsible for researching and resolving any benefit-related issues.
This role requires strong organizational and technical skills. This role also requires staying up to date with relevant laws, regulations, and market trends within the Benefits and HR functions. You should also have strong interpersonal skills, be able to maintain meticulous records, and collaborate with other departments and external service providers.
MAIN DUTIES:
The Sr. Benefits Administrator will collaborate with payroll and ensure that employer contributions and payroll deductions are processed accurately and in a timely manner. They will maintain and update benefits file feeds between vendors and within the payroll and benefits system to ensure accurate processing of benefit employee changes, and set up the system enrollments in the payroll and benefit system, including but not limited to annual open enrollment. They will work with the benefit team to coordinate daily benefits processing, including but not limited to enrollments, terminations, and Qualifying Life events, and resolve benefit-related issues and respond to queries and requests in a timely manner.

As the ideal candidate, you will have demonstrated experience in the Benefits and HR functions. You will also have a successful track record working in Benefits Operations in a multistate company, in particular with employees in California, New York, and Atlanta, and a successful track record having worked with Payroll and Benefits systems required, ideally working in UKG benefits. You must have working knowledge and experience in setting up and maintenance of file feeds, benefit deductions and Open Enrollment process, and advanced experience with Google Docs and Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.

- Assist in educating employees of the details of the company’s benefit programs.
- Maintain and create records, reports, and documentation in accordance with federal, state, and provider regulations.
- Other duties as assigned
- Back up for Leave of Absences process
- Back up Benefit Manager
- Assist the Benefits Manager to research new employee benefit plans and vendors.
- Assist the Benefits Manager in the evaluation of the efficiency and value of current benefit programs and make recommendations for improvement.
WHAT YOU BRING:

- Demonstrated knowledge of benefits related federal, state, and local laws required.
- Must have the ability to handle sensitive and confidential data.
- Passionate about developing efficient processes and driving results
- Active listening ability and strong organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities with deadlines while maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail
- Ability to anticipate team needs and respond accordingly in a dynamic environment
- Ability to solve problems and make proactive recommendations
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in the English language
- Educational background in in human resources, business, finance, or a related field, preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
