Compass Associates are proud to be working with a valued client in their recruitment for a Director of Nursing for their medium sized skilled nursing facility in Louisville, Ohio.
For this opportunity you are required to be a qualified registered nurse (RN) in the state of Ohio, that is passionate about care and has previous experience working as a Director of Nursing within a skilled nursing facility with a minimum of 50 units/beds.
You will be focused on providing high-quality care in line with Ohio state, Medicare and company standards, supporting and developing the well-established team you are leading. Reporting into and supporting the administrator, with their day-to-day responsibilities.
The Candidate
The successful candidate must have a registered nursing license (RN), active in the state of Ohio. While having experience of either DON responsibilities and the management of a nursing team within a senior care community of 50 units/beds. Along with a good understanding of North Carolina state regulations within senior care.
All applicants must have experience as a DON within a skilled nursing facility and provide evidence that they have the capability to manage the clinical operations of a skilled nursing facility. The position requires a manager who can motivate a staff team, while ensuring that first class care is always delivered and understands the expectations of working within a fast paced, ever changing environment.
Requirements
Registered nurse qualification (RN) within the state of Ohio
A minimum of 1 years experience as Director of Nursing
History of managing a clinical team within a skilled nursing facility
Experience with, Medicare, Medicaid guidelines
Knowledge on Ohio senior care state regulations
Location
The facility is based in Louisville, Ohio and is commutable from Akron, Youngstown, Massillon and surrounding areas.
