Field LBA/LaBA

Compass provides individualized, data-driven, compassionate ABA therapy to families throughout Virginia. We are seeking a Field LBA/LaBA in our Norfolk location to further our mission of providing caring and compassionate ABA services by supporting our program supervisors.

Successful candidates will be BCBAs and have, or be eligible for, licensure as a licensed behavior analyst (LBA) in Virginia within 1 month of hire. They will ideally have 2 years of experience working with children and/or adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder in the home-based setting. While supervisory experience is not required, having past experience supporting and guiding clinicians is preferred.

Position Details:

· Directly observe and support programming, skill acquisition, behavior reduction, and parent training;

· Collect data on clinicians running skills, clients’ challenging behaviors, and other session data to make recommendations regarding treatment implementation;

· Direct the treatment and manage administrative tasks for own caseload;

· Fill in as needed to meet client’s approved hours for the week;

· Build rapport with families and complete parent training as directed by the Program Supervisor;

· Promote clinician development by supporting new hires and those with more challenging caseloads.
