Job Description
Responsible to prepare and serve drinks to customers and able to mix and match ingredients in order to create classic and innovative drinks in accordance with customers’ needs and expectations. The purpose of this position is to interact with the hotel guests and ensure they have a great experience.
Primary Responsibilities
- Work in both Latitude’s Lobby Bar and the Rooftop Chill Bar according to the weekly schedule.
- Greet guests in a friendly manner and accurately prepare drinks from an extensive drink menu.
- Engage guests to create a fun, relaxing atmosphere.
- Take food and drink orders and answer questions to insure five star service.
- Deliver food and drinks to tables, enter orders into Micros and settle checks.
- Follow all hotel safety policies, procedures and standards.
- Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness behind and throughout the entire bar area.
- Assist other departments as needed and handle other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must be able to work holidays and weekends.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work well with minimum supervision.
- Must have reliable transportation and pass a background check.
- Wear the proper uniform at all times. Uniform must be wrinkle free, clean and neat.
- Obtain an active ABC Card or be able to obtain one.
Be able to pass a background check and have no felony convictions
