Job Description
The core and support system to the housekeeping department ensuring the team has all the items they need to provide a welcome and comfortable place for our guests
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with stripping of all linens and removal of glassware from rooms
- Deliver dirty linen through drop chute
- Deliver guest room glasses to the housekeeping area to be cleaned
- Clean guest hallways and corridors including bridge floors
- Restock room supplies
- Respond to guest queries and requests
- Deliver any requested housekeeping items to guest rooms
- Collect and bag all trash in required receptacles. Deliver all trash off property.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of guest rooms
- Assist with unloading of truck deliveries
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards
- Turn in and record all lost and found items
Requirements
- Must be willing to work holidays and weekends.
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques and methods
- Friendly, outgoing personality and professional appearance required.
- Physical stamina and mobility including ability to reach, kneel and bend with ability to lift, push, and pull.
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills a must.
