This position has a lot of flexibility with hours/scheduling and you can build your caseload accordingly. Pay DOE up to $65 per billable hour paid drive time and mileage! Plus 401K and more for those eligible! Our SB area Clinical Director is also a Speech-Language Pathologist with the availability and credentials to sign off on graduate school SLP practicum hours and/or provide supervision for a therapist during their CFY.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide one-on-one intervention with children and their families
- Administer developmental assessments and write reports within designated timelines
- Model effective adult-child interactions and provide written information on parenting and child development, as needed
- Maintain confidential client records/files
- Demonstrate good organizational skills.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Masters degree in Communication Disorders and Sciences
- Demonstrate knowledge of normal child development birth to three-year-old
- California Speech-language pathologist license
- Pass complete Livescan fingerprinting and background check procedure
REASONING ABILITY, SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE:
- Fluent in English and able to communicate effectively using written and verbal communication
- Bilingual applicants encouraged to apply
- Must have basic computer skills
