Preschool Assistant Teacher or Aide

What you have:

• Minimum of 1-year field-related experience
• Flexibility to work hours based on the needs of the school and program
• Successful background check and MN licensing requirements
• Must be comfortable standing for long periods of time (up to 8 hours a day)
• Must be comfortable sitting on the floor
• Must be reliable, organized, and punctual
• Able to fluently understand, read and speak English

What you will do:

• Actively supervise as they learn, play, eat and sleep
• Keep your classroom organized and clean
• Observe the children's interests; work with other team members to develop creative ideas for an engaging curriculum
• Support the Lead Teacher in daily activities and classroom management
• Communicate with parents daily, sharing their children's latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile app.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
