Description
Musician Synopsis: This position assists the Worship Leader and other musicians create and execute powerful worship experience.
Hours:
Part-time as scheduled.
Qualifications
We Require:
A committed Christian who is comfortable working in a Church environment and is like-minded regarding our Christian Beliefs (See Beliefs, Staff Commandments in the application) with the following qualifications:
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities and Primary Responsibilities:
- Be prepared to play music assigned at rehearsal. Know the music/chords so that you are not relying on sheet music.
- During rehearsal, be flexible with changes to ensure the worship flows.
- Be willing to take constructive feedback and make changes to music.
- Have instrument ready for service. If not using your own equipment, let Music Director and Worship Leader know what your equipment needs are by Thursday noon.
- Be on stage to setup 15 minutes before rehearsal time is scheduled to start.
- For mobile campuses, musicians are responsible for setting up and taking down of their equipment and instruments.
- Be responsible for clocking in and out at appropriate times; communicate with Music Director if there are issues.
- Commit to the time and weekend that you are scheduled. If there are any conflicts notify the Music Director as soon as possible
- Adhere to Compass Christian Church Stage dress code.
