Job Title: Vice President of Operations
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Operations with a proven track record of 15 years in operational leadership. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with expertise in developing and implementing policies and procedures, healthcare compliance implementation and training, business development, and human resources. This leader will excel at maintaining a positive and productive work environment, driving strategic initiatives, and optimizing day-to-day operations through innovative thinking and proactive leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership & Business Development
- Drive and oversee the development and execution of strategic initiatives that align with the company’s overall vision and objectives.
- Identify new opportunities for business growth, streamline processes, and drive efficiency across the organization.
- Take the initiative to implement innovative, out-of-the-box solutions to enhance organizational performance.
2. Operational Excellence
- Oversee and optimize the company’s daily operations to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
- Establish and enforce policies and procedures to support operational success and compliance.
- Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
3. Policy Development & Compliance
- Develop, write, and implement comprehensive policies and procedures that are clear, effective, and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Provide ongoing compliance training to ensure all departments adhere to regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement auditing measures to monitor adherence to policies, identify areas for improvement, and lead initiatives to enhance compliance and operational integrity.
4. Human Resources & Work Environment
- Collaborate with HR to cultivate a positive and engaging work environment that promotes employee satisfaction and productivity.
- Leverage a strong human resources background to lead initiatives around employee relations, talent development, and performance management.
- Serve as a mentor and coach to foster leadership development across the organization.
5. Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Be a hands-on, take-charge leader who motivates and collaborates with teams to achieve company goals.
- Build cross-functional teams and maintain open communication to ensure alignment and collaboration across departments.
- Act as a role model in demonstrating a team-player mindset, fostering a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement.
6. Policy & Procedure Writing and Implementation
- Utilize exceptional writing skills to create, update, and maintain detailed policies and procedures that guide the organization.
- Ensure that written materials are comprehensive, user-friendly, and accessible to all employees.
- Conduct regular reviews and revisions of documents to ensure relevance and compliance with evolving business needs and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing, Social Work, or Business Administration.
- 15 years of experience in healthcare operations management, with a strong focus on policy and procedure development, compliance, and human resources.
- Demonstrated ability to lead business development initiatives and improve organizational performance through strategic thinking and innovation.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to inspire and manage high-performing teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail in policy and procedure documentation.
- Highly adaptable and proactive, with a strong ability to think creatively and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid understanding of regulatory compliance and training programs.
