Critical Action Items & Measurable Deliverables:
- Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards that are applicable to this position.
- Accurately maintain employee monthly financial accountability reports. Submit timely and accurate monthly budget reports.
- Process requisitions and purchase orders on a timely basis and using agency systems created for this purpose.
- Obtain bids, invoices, and RFPs as necessary to ensure financial compliance.
- Communicate effectively and professionally by phone or face-to-face with agency staff, vendors, community members and regulatory and contract staff.
- Participate in scheduled meetings and team decisions and operations.
- Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed or requested by supervisor.
- Implement Compass Connections safety protocols including evacuating with children and other staff in case of an emergency.
- Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the service population and program operations.
- Maintain Compass Connections professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in Compass Connections employee handbook including demonstrating respect for agency staff, children, and community members and always complying with required dress code.
- Completes expenditure analysis according to budget.
- Ensure all federal and state financial guidelines are met.
- Maintain and distribute financial information for review by management staff.
- Forecast budgetary obligations vs. expenditures to ensure compliance.
- Participate in annual budgetary meetings, presenting analyses of historical expenditures.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment.
- Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request.
- Pass pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks.
- Respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s cultural and socio-economic characteristics.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members, service providers and professionals.
- Provide crisis intervention according to training provided by Compass Connections when needed to maintain a safe environment.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and always maintain emotional control and professional composure.
- Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position.
- Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of all Compass Connections policies and procedures.
