Critical Action Items & Measurable Deliverables:
- Meet all agency policies and procedures and federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards that are applicable to this position.
- Maintain up to date and accurate records and bookkeeping data and provide information to the regional director as requested.
- Supervise staff to ensure that all program vehicles are cleaned and maintained in accordance with agency policies and procedures and transportation services are available to the service population and staff and when needed; be prepared to provide these services if necessary.
- Coordinate emergency evacuation of staff and the service population when needed.
- Monitor and supervise the National School Lunch Program implementation and documentation.
- Participate in the facility “on Call” rotation schedule and respond to program emergencies as needed with during or outside of regular shift schedule.
- Serve on the facility Safety Committee.
- Review documentation for all supervised staff to ensure maintenance of current training, licenses, and/or certification as described in their position descriptions.
- Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed or requested by position supervisor.
- Implement Compass Connections safety protocols including evacuating in an emergency.
- Maintain confidentiality in all areas of child and program operations.
- Maintain Compass Connections professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in Compass Connections employee handbook including demonstrating respect for agency staff, children, and community members and complying with required dress code at all times.
- Monitor and supervise assigned department and employees to ensure individual and department goals and objectives are met in accordance with program needs and requirements.
- Effectively communicate with program and supply vendors, on-site facility services departments, contracted security companies and other third-party service providers to meet the needs of program and facilities.
- Frequently traverse from one area of the physical plant to another and from one location in the community to another.
- Occasionally move up to 50 pounds of supplies and equipment from one area to another at the facility.
- Meet all deadlines required by program supervisor and federal partners.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment.
- Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request.
- Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks.
- Demonstrate the ability to:
- Respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s cultural and socio-economic characteristics.
- Work collaboratively with other staff members, service providers and professionals.
- Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure at all times.
- Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position.
- Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of all Compass Connections policies and procedures.
