Academic Req: Required – Bachelor’s or undergraduate degree from an accredited program/university; Preferred – Graduate degree from accredited program/university

Certifications: First aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention

Work experience: Required – Four (4) to six (6) years of related experience and/or training; Preferred – Six (6) plus years of related experience and/or training

Critical Action Items & Measurable Deliverables:

  • Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards that are applicable to this position.
  • Provide timely and accurate records and bookkeeping data to the Compass Connections Executive Director.
  • Provide oversight of data, evaluative tools, and survey information as necessary for the division.
  • Act as a liaison between the policy team and program services ensuring all policy changes are interpreted, developed, trained, and implemented.
  • Ensure all training information remains updated according to local, state, and federal policy.
  • Participate in scheduled meetings, in-service training, and team decisions.
  • Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the service population, program operations, and Compass Connections System.
  • Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed or requested by position supervisor.
  • Maintain Compass Connections professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in Compass Connections employee handbook including demonstrating respect for agency staff, children, and community members and complying with required dress code at all times.


Other Responsibilities:

  • Provide evaluation and supportive services to programs in Compass Connections in the areas of compliance, training, policy, and accreditation.
  • Serve as a liaison between Compass Connections headquarters and programs in the division.
  • Provide oversight of division safety initiatives and workplace safety data.
  • Provide evaluative oversight of the National School Lunch Program activities and deliverables and supervision of the National School Lunch Program Director.
  • Work irregular days/hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends, depending on needs 8. Frequently transverse from one location to another.

  • Meet all deadlines required by program supervisor and federal partners.


Requirements:

  • Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment.
  • Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request.
  • Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background checks.
  • Demonstrate the ability to:
  • Respond sensitively and competently to the service population’s cultural and socio-economic characteristics.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members, service providers and professionals.
  • Organize and prioritize responsibilities and duties efficiently.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure at all times.
  • Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position.
  • Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of all Compass Connections policies and procedures.
