Academic Req: Required – Master’s degree in a behavioral science field plus five (5) years of full-time direct service delivery experience OR a doctoral degree from an accredited college or university in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or in other relevant behavioral science field in which clinical training and experience is a program requirement
Certifications: Currently licensed as LCSW-S or LCSW who is LCSW-S licensure eligible, First aid, CPR, Emergency behavior intervention
Work experience: Required – Three (3) years of supervisory experience or five (5) years in a related area with specific experience in working in community-based, residential, inpatient, or school-based clinical treatment programs. Experience developing and implementing trainings, applying Full-Time

Critical Action Items & Measurable Deliverables:
1. Ensure all community relationships supporting partnerships are viable.

2. Provide oversight of data, evaluative tools, and survey information as necessary for the division.
3. Implementation and management of clinical and mental health service initiatives.
4.Ensure relevant program training remains updated according to local, state, and federal policy.
5. Ensure compliance dashboard reflects program critical action items.
6. Participate in scheduled meetings, in-service training, and team decisions.
7. Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed or requested by position supervisor.
8. Maintain Compass Connections professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in Compass Connections employee handbook including demonstrating respect for agency staff, children, and community members and complying with required dress code at all times.
9. Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards that are applicable to this position.
10. Enhancement of supportive services for unaccompanied children with significant mental health issues, focused on the evaluation of the efficacy of psychotropic medications.
11. Creation of additional tools necessary to identify and serve vulnerable populations.
12. Possess excellent interpersonal skills as well as organizational and planning skills.
13. Maintain confidentiality in all areas of child and program operations.

3. Ability to respond to common inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the professional community.

5. Ability to communicate on an effective level with both clients and staff from a variety of disciplines.
6. Serve as a liaison between Compass Connections headquarters and programs as well as State and Federal partners as it relates to clinical and mental health services.
7. Ensure training is available to staff according to need.
8. Work irregular days/hours, including nights, holidays, and weekends, depending on needs.
9. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English and Spanish.

b. Work collaboratively with other staff members, service providers and professionals.
c. Provide crisis intervention according to training provided by Compass Connections when needed to maintain a safe environment.
d. Work in a fast-paced environment and maintain emotional control and professional composure at all times.
e. Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position.
f. Work effectively and without intensive supervision both independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
6. Demonstrate a working knowledge of all Compass Connections policies and procedures.
7. Must be licensed to practice mental health treatment and assessment (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, Licensed Psychologist).
8. Must possess clinical and mental health assessment and treatment skills with diverse populations of children/adolescents.
9. Must possess the ability to train staff in therapeutic processes, prepare reports, and recommendations for clinical and mental health administrative use, and have the ability to work with youth in community-based programs, residential, day treatment, or institutional settings.
