POSITION SUMMARY
The Superintendent plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating all construction activities at the job site. This position ensures that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with project plans, specifications, and jurisdictional requirements. The Superintendent is responsible for maintaining an organized and clean job site, managing materials and equipment, scheduling inspections, and communicating effectively with the Construction Manager, Project Manager, Subcontractors, and city authorities to ensure project success.

OBJECTIVES
- Coordinate and supervise all on-site construction activities.
- Ensure all work aligns with project plans, specifications, and codes.
- Maintain and communicate construction schedule updates and delays to the Construction Manager.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues that may impact timelines or quality.
- Lead, coordinate, and communicate effectively with subcontractors and trades.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site at all times.
- Manage the delivery, inventory, and placement of onsite materials and equipment.
- Ensure storage facilities are clean, organized, and easily navigable.
- Understand and manage city-required inspections and timelines.
- Stay current with each municipality’s inspection process (online portal, phone scheduling, etc.).
COMPETENCIES
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and processes.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- In-depth understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Proven experience managing and coordinating on-site construction operations.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask across multiple trades and schedules.
- Committed to enforcing and maintaining a safe, compliant job site.
- High attention to detail and dedication to quality standards.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Proficiency with Procore construction management software is required.
- 5 years of experience
- Experience in supervision, management, or people leadership.
- Basic understanding of construction plans and specifications.
- Ability to utilize construction reporting tools.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Prolonged periods of time standing, speaking, walking, and/or sitting at a computer
- This position will require travel: up to 20%

Salary : $75,000 - $95,000
