Our client develops, manufactures and supplies a wide array of innovative medical diagnostic products, services, tests, platforms and technologies.
Role Overview :
We are seeking driven, self-motivated, and passionate individuals looking to start a career in a fast-paced lab. The position will play an integral role in day-to-day operations as we develop our novel DNA sequencing technology. This position will be based in Seattle, WA.
Responsibilities :
Order and track laboratory supplies.
Create, receive and reconcile orders through our ordering and tracking software.
Maintain and repair equipment.
Ensure efficacy of labs pipettes.
Complement the positive and dynamic Central Services (CS) team, lending support to
the CS manager and other laboratory assistants.
Quickly and effectively interpret directions into appropriate and efficient actions.
Develop and propose improved processes to fulfill the above functions.
Maintain the labs cleanliness and organization.
Adhere to company policies and support management decisions and
goals in a positive, professional manner.
Qualifications :
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Solid computer skills. Experience with Excel preferred.
Very good organization skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical ability.
A keen ability to listen to directions and execute them accurately.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with individuals and groups
at all organization levels.
Ability to work safely and professionally with or on Roche Diagnostic Seattle's property.
Bachelors degree focused in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Physics
or Engineering field preferred.
Previous laboratory or research experience preferred.
