Private Practice Seeking LMFT or Other Experienced Couple Counselor

Compass Counseling and Associates, LLC. - founded in 2015 and now having expanded to three practice locations and over 40 clinicians - is proud to announce the opening of its first private “sister” practice - Compass Counseling for Couples and Individuals. CCCI provides couple and individual therapy to support the relational concerns of the community in and around Malvern, PA. We are seeking to recruit and contract a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to provide 10-25 hours of individual and couple therapy per week. If you are interested in acting as clinical supervisor or developing relational trainings to offer the larger Compass team, we would welcome your systemic expertise in these roles as well!

Needs of the Position

In-office availability will assist in meeting the needs of our Malvern community, but you are more than welcome to work from home with those clients who prefer to meet via telehealth. Many clients do wish to be seen during evening hours, so you will likely need availability during weekday evenings to grow your caseload. Additionally, weekend availability is optional but NOT required. The ideal candidate is an optimistic and enthusiastic couple and individual therapist with an entrepreneurial spirit who will bring positive energy and passion to the Compass Counseling team.

Experience

• Minimum of two years’ post-graduate experience working with individuals and couples
• Clinical supervision experience preferred but not required.

Education

Master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy preferred due to the client population being served in this position. Other mental health degrees with specializations, training, and/or extensive experience working with relational therapy will also be considered.

License

LMFT preferred - other licensure will be considered depending on training and experience!
