Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Dental Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental practice. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of dental office procedures, and the ability to manage both staff and patient relations effectively. This role is crucial in ensuring that the practice runs smoothly while providing exceptional care to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the dental office, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
- Oversee scheduling, patient records management, insurance filling, and billing processes using OPEN dental software and Weave.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including proper management of medical/dental records.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial health and sustainability of the practice.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate staff performance while fostering a positive work environment.
- Implement policies and procedures to enhance clinic efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Collaborate with dental professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of care for patients.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a dental office setting, with a strong understanding of dental terminology..
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial management within a clinical environment.
- Proficiency in dental software systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff, patients, and external partners.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- At least 2 years of experience in dental office management
Our practice is open Monday through Thursday from 7 AM to 6 PM, however your work schedule may vary in this time period, including some Fridays.
This is a salaried position and compensation will be based on experience and qualifications. The total compensation may be higher that what is listed.
