Job Summary
Join Compass Group USA and FLIK as the Director of Food and Beverage. This is an outstanding opportunity to lead a world-class team and successfully implement innovative food service solutions in an ambitious, collaborative environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
-Coordinate management of high-volume, multi-unit hotel and conference center.
-Financially accountable for all food and beverage outlets, room service, banquets, and culinary operations.
-Operate the department according to the approved budget, improving client return.
-Ensure all food and beverage offerings are of outstanding quality.
-Direct and conduct safety, sanitation, and maintenance programs.
-Maintain excellent relationships with employees, guests, and clients.
-Maintain accurate presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures-following HACCP standards.
-Communicate closely with managers under the Food & Beverage Division and other department heads.
-Actively participate within the Executive Committee, reporting directly to the General Manager.
-Review daily operating results and weekly forecasting, taking immediate corrective actions if required.
-Maintain high visibility with associates, guests, and clients.
-Monitor associate hires and disciplinary actions, leading overall recruitment in all F&B areas.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Bachelor’s degree in hospitality and/or culinary degree, or equivalent experience.
-Minimum of 10 years of progressive hospitality experience.
-Proven profit and loss management ability and client relations success.
-Operations management experience with purchasing knowledge.
-Excellent communication and computer skills, including Microsoft Suite.
-Demonstrated ability to manage others, including cross-discipline managers.
-Great teammate, motivator, meticulous, innovator, and project management excellence.
