Job Summary
Working as a Director of Dining Services, you are responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations for a busy corporate dining account. You will manage and lead a team of four hourly associates and ensure we're providing exceptional service, each and every day. Our Dining Services Director manages client relations, and ensures that the food offered to our client is of superior quality. We are looking for a high energy diligent individual with a track record of leading a strong team, preferably in a similar retail dining or free standing restaurant operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain excellent relationships with customers, guests and client as well as other departments
- Partner effectively with the chef and external food vendors on site, ensuring we are meeting quality expectations
- Oversee all P&L and budgeting as it pertains to the account
- Roll out new culinary programs, as needed
- Train and mentor employees daily - always focused on quality, consistency, and exceptional guest interactions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Must have previous retail F&B managerial experience and a track record of successful results.
- Must be able to work unsupervised and make decisions and work long hours if necessary.
- BS, Hospitality or Culinary degree preferred
- Three to five years of foodservice operation experience
- High volume production and catering experience is preferred
- Previous experience managing a budget
- Desire to learn and grow with a top notch foodservice company
