Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detailed-oriented Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our Premium team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operations of a premium food and beverage department and performs a variety of duties while providing a pleasant guest experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Staff Management - Manages premium food and beverage operations, while assisting team members and maintaining a safe environment throughout operating hours. Supervising, scheduling, training, and guiding staff to ensure they are attentive, friendly, and courteous.
Guest Service - Providing an excellent food and beverage experience for guests, handling complaints tactfully, greets, directs, and responds to guest’s questions and needs.
Policies and Procedures - Understands and recommend food and beverage menu offerings, presentation, and pricing. Have a clear understanding of food and beverage policies, procedures, and standards.
Stock Control - Taking responsibility for stock control, reporting, and returning sub-standard items, and completing a monthly equipment and stock take. Follows cash handling policies and food safety/sanitation guidelines.
Service Delivery - Regularly reviewing service delivery, coordinating service for accurate serving time and proper temperature, checking table settings.
Other Duties - Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Highschool Diploma or GED.
- Minimum of (1) year of Supervisory experience.
- Minimum of (3) years of Food and Beverage, Hotel/Hospitality, Club or Full-Service Restaurant experience.
- Valid TABC and Food Handler's or state approved certifications.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
- Excellent customer service, organization, and time management.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to remain focused in a loud and busy environment.
- Ability to handle customer complaints and inquiries professionally. Strong problem-solving skills.
