Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Sitecore Engineer to join our growing Business Intelligence team. The ideal candidate will be adept at developing and maintaining customer-facing portals using Sitecore CMS. Your primary role will be to work with a team to develop and implement new enhancements to a Sitecore portal that provides customer-facing reporting and visualizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain customer-facing portals using Sitecore CMS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Work with the development team and Product Owner to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Provide technical expertise on requirements gathering calls with customers and stakeholders
- Implement Sitecore best practices to ensure high performance, scalability, and security
- Customize and extend Sitecore components, templates, and modules to meet business needs
- Integrate Sitecore with third-party systems and rest/web APIs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Sitecore implementations.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Stay updated with the latest Sitecore features, updates, and industry trends.
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a customer-facing portal developer, bonus if majority of experience is in Sitecore
- Strong proficiency in SQL and database management
- Strong knowledge of .NET, C#, ASP.NET, and MVC frameworks.
- Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like Angular or React.
- Bonus - experience with reporting/BI tools such as Looker or PowerBI
- Excellent understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes
- Proven ability to translate business needs into technical specifications
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field a plus (may substitute experience)
