Job Summary
We are looking for a Sr UI/UX designer, and front-end developer to join our growing technology company. Collaboratively work in a fast-paced team environment to analyze and creatively solve complex problems. You will contribute to multiple projects and develop solutions across the Enterprise. Interface with multiple project partners during application development and delivery
Responsibilities
* Design and develop applications using Angular.io, Angular JS, Ionic, Bootstrap, NodeJS, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Java/J2EE, SQL and MongoDB.
* Engaged in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) that includes Requirement Elicitation, Gathering, Analysis, Design, Development, Change management and Testing.
* Design, Build & Maintain responsive, highly reusable and cross platform applications using HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, SASS, JavaScript, Ionic, jQuery, and Node.js as per client requirements.
* Integration with DB's, backend technologies/systems using API’s
* Develop various software design patterns and reusable components across different modules using Custom directives and CSS classes.
* Good understanding of Software Architecture and experienced in converting software attributes such as reusability, flexibility, feasibility and security into a designed solution that meets the business and technical expectations.
* Develop and maintain software documentation, workflows and Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagrams including Use Cases, Activity Charts, Sequence Diagrams, Data Flow Diagrams, and ER Diagrams.
* Come up with UI and UX strategies based on our target goals and business needs and communicate/demonstrate the value and rationale of UX decisions to stakeholders.
* Create and maintain digital assets, such as interface design files, wireframes, and interactive mockups using AdobeXD etc.
* Be able to understand customer requirements and translate them into relevant UX features
* Collaborate with a fast paced technology team, business partners and vendors
* Keep up to date with general UI trends, best practices, design principles, and toolsets.
Skills
* Bachelor's in Computer Science or equivalent
* 10 years’ experience as a front-end developer.
* 2 years’ experience as a UI/UX designer.
* Must have recent hands-on experience with Angular
* A portfolio that demonstrates strength in visual design and experience designing modern, usable interactions and UIs, highlighting your process and design solutions based on SOLID design principles
* Experience with mobile-first experiences and design systems, with a demonstrated ability to think through end-to-end solutions with a strong user-centered approach.
* In-depth knowledge of web applications, architecture, and REST APIs.
* Proficiency in JavaScript, usage of plugins, node packages, debugging across platforms, test tools like karma, jasmine
* Expert knowledge of CSS, CSS extension languages (Less, Sass), and CSS preprocessor tools, HTML5, Angular, Ionic, Bootstrap, NodeJS, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Java/J2EE, SQL and their best practices
* Good Experience across DB's like MongoDB, DocumentDB, MySQL
* Proficiency in designing interfaces and building clickable prototypes using AdobeXD * Experienced in using CI/CD process and tools
* Experienced in Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
* Strong Analytical, Problem solving and Time management skills.
* Self-Motivated, goal driven with excellent communication and Interpersonal Skills with a sound understanding of the balance that must exist between customer satisfaction and technical excellence.
