Job Summary
Compass Group, the world’s leading food and facilities services company, is looking for a Vice President of Sales - FM, who will lead the K12 Education Sales team nationwide. Reporting to the SVP of Sales for Education NA you will be responsible for growing Compass Group’s facilities management portfolio and directing the activities of the K12 sales team. The ideal candidate will have a track record of national FM sales success and leadership as well as being based in a major metro within the US.
Compass delivers over $4BN of facilities services annually across a number of dedicated operating companies that specialize in specific sectors. SSC is the facilities specialist within the Education sector and provides services across both K12 and University campuses including the largest IFM partnership in the sector at Texas A&M.
Responsibilities:
* Hands on support in identifying and qualifying targets, developing the strategy to win and crafting the overall approach
* Train, coach, develop, support and hold accountable a team of direct reports
* Identify and orchestrate the appropriate resources to win new business
* Investigate and analyze potential new business markets and new business growth strategies as well as competitors' activities with clients or prospect campuses
* Accurately forecast sales, ensure integrity of CRM and effectively manage expenses
* Drive new business revenue aggressively while ensuring strong profitability
* Excellent rapport and relationship builder with decision makers over the long-term selling cycle
* Excellent communication skills (oral, written & listening)
* Strong internal team builder among sales, sales support and operations
* Consistently exceed sales quotas
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or extensive leadership experience/training required
* Successful facilities management sales/operations experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role required
* Experience interacting with senior executives and selling at the "C" level
* Experience managing and/or selling large volume, complex integrated facilities management contracts
* A strategic thinker with a logical approach, who is able to prioritize multiple projects and changing demands in a fast-paced environment
* An excellent communicator and collaborator both internally and externally
* Prepared to travel extensively throughout the United States
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Positive, can-do attitude with flexibility and creativity
